Lillis (formerly, Sans Tache)[2] is a former settlement in Fresno County, California.[1] It was located on the railroad 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Laton,[2] at an elevation of 253 feet (77 m).[1] Lillis still appeared on maps as of 1927.[1]
The name honors Simon C. Lillis, ranch superintendent.[2] A post office operated at Lillis from 1890, to 1900 when the service transferred to Laton.[2]
