Langanesbyggð is a municipality in northeastern Iceland, just north of Austurland.

As of January 2011, it had a total population of 505 and a population density of 0.36 per square kilometre. The total area was 1,333 km².

The main village is Þórshöfn, in the north there is the Langanes peninsula.
